My initial impression was great and I it appeared that my move would be seamless and efficient. The communication at pickup was unclear and the date/time changed right up to last minute. My movers were not aware of the added stop and this frustrated them... Then my furniture sat for quite a while before I had a tentative delivery date, which was 4-5 days beyond the window. Here to, the date and time changed right up to the last minute, actually arriving a day earlier, yet 4 days late. My poin t is that these changes have a major impact on the coordination for proper access and availability. This is especially difficult to manage when it involves elderly people who require additional assistance and the facilities that support that type of care. I realize the logistics are complex, however this is specifically your business and should be able to dial in the schedule better - "we" move I frequently and rely on your expertise to manage the process. When it starts to feel haphazard or t hat "our" schedule is not as important, it is concerning and frustrating. I was given a credit for the additional days it took to deliver, which is appreciated. However, at the end of the day, it is short lived and I would rather have felt like the schedule and our time was important vs me having to jump at a moment's notice when I get a call to meet them, regardless of what was planned even a day before. It simply adds more stress and frustration to an already stressful situation.

The uncertainty of timing for pickup and dropoff was frustrating, inventory and labeling wasn't organized well so we had to hunt through some boxes to make sure I had everything ( I thought we had lost a very very expensive rug but found out it had been stuffed in with my tv), and I found out the next day that one of my chairs was broken during the move (I did not notice on day of move so signed it as no damage). However, the price was fantastic, and the people were all very nice, so I would sti ll recommend to my friends but with some disclaimers.

I was very impressed by the moving crew from the Greenbank location, Julius was very respectful and on top of the whole move. The unloading was less impressive. Julius was again very professional but the 3 men hired from Lewiston/Clarkston were unprofessional and did not handle my belongings with the same care and attention that the loading crew did. I told the Local representative in Oak Harbor if my concerns and felt supported and listened to. I would recommend Golden to other movers as I was overall 80% pleased with my move with them.

Driver Brittany was fabulous. The three men who moved things in were goid, very friendly. They weren't able to move sofa bed to basement, which was big dissappointment. They put together bed in master BR, but not very securely. Otherwise they did good job.

Joyce movers were okay. Did lose a few things (bed rail pins, table pins and) and didn't wrap things well when packing. (according to the team on the offload) They kinds just threw things into our storage unit :/ Also our printer ink was not packed well. Overall things went okay. Good Communication and were kind enough working on such a hot day.

National Van Lines customer support staff were excellent. The delivery driver was excellent. All items were accounted for and undamaged. The cost estimate and final price for the move were excellent. However, the delivery window estimate & coordination could have been better - it was too wide and there seemed to be some initial lack of coordination with the pickup from the local mover. Thank you.

The packing was very thorough, the move was timely and most of your staff were very friendly. Our stairs did get scuffed up and chipped at our move out address, so some additional training on move out and lifting might be helpful for that team.

I'd love to give National Van Lines a 5 Start Review however I had one hiccup in my delivery of goods. The driver didn't do a full inventory at one of his stops and left half of my bed at another place. In his defense apparently the other address had the same exact bed as mine just in a king size bed (what are the chances?!). Why this is a 4 star review is because the moment he figured it out, he tracked back his memory and realized what had happened and then worked to fix it and make it right. That is more important to me than anything. Yesterday he delivered the rest of the bed and assembled it for us. Well done National Van Lines.

Carlos and Austin were great. Austin is an extremely hard worker. Shed, who was hired as an extra in FL was also a very hard worker. However, the two women who were helpers in IN did very little. Austin did most of the moving. He did the work of two guys. The move itself went fairly well. Nothing was damaged except I am missing a glass top for a cabinet. I didnt realize it was missing until the next day.

Communication wasnt the greatest, repeatedly asked for updates on where my stuff was and couldnt really get an answer. Overall they were timely and professional.

Our team of packers and movers were very good, friendly, polite. We did feel like the truck team could have finished a little sooner, but were pleased that everything arrived in great shape, except a couple minor scratches and scuffs. We appreciate the flexibility in timing and great communication with Tiffany, efficiency and care with valuables of David and his assistant, and the communication and persistance to finish the job of Mark our driver and his crew were respectful and friendly, hard working.

Your guys were great. They carefully wrapped the China closet. Delivered it right when they said they would and helped my cousin set it up and put it in place. Everything showed up in good shape. However, there was a box with the lamp shades and the lamp globes that got left behind in Seattle. It followed the next and arrived in SanFrancisco via UPS. The UPS people toss boxes around quite a bit. One of the lamp globes was broken. Not a problem - sort of my bad - I packed it - just didnt p ack it well enough for the UPS football team. You guy were great - wont hesitate to recommend National Van Lines as movers.

I know everyone wants a 10 or 5 but Im happy with satisfied. I have used your services 3 times now and hope Ive settled in and will not be in need of moving services for a long time. I was happy with the delivery time so that gets a 5. Nothing was broken except for a minor piece on a cupboard which was easily fixed. I have not put everything in its place yet.

There was a bit of a communication error at the beginning, but was overall satisfied with my movers and the cost of my move.
