The movers were friendly, fast and showed up on time to leave and arrive. We had a few items broken (a corner of of our bed and off of a coffee table) , a fridge with small dents, and a couple small items missing ( bed remote and recliner motor to the loveseat) but overall we were satisfied given the very large amount of items from an 1850 square foot 2 story home and really full garage. The price seemed really high but I had references from our realtor so there was that. Jack the estimator was nice and our price matched our estimate so we didnt have to deal with the bait and switch we had heard about from other companies.
The entire National Van Lines team was amazing! Our move from Phoenix to Pennsylvania was stress free we packed and they loaded transported and unloaded our belongings our driver Allen was hilarious and so personable. We are an LGBTQ couple and were treated with dignity and respect the movers in Phoenix were awesome and Allen was awesome when he got to our new home. I did take off one star because the mover we had at our new home was not as careful as the movers in Phoenix while he still did an awesome jobs he stacked boxes on top of boxes that stated they should not have anything on top and he broke the headboard to our bed but all in all it was an amazing experience and a broken headboard is fixable and almost every box is unpacked and we have found that almost all of our items made the cross country move intact! We really enjoyed our experience and will return if we ever do another big move!
To begin with one of the drivers helpers DID NOT show up. Luckily I had three people helping me as it was a lot to oversee. When all was completed I went through the paperwork with the driver and there were three (3) items NOT checked off. He claimed that everything was delivered and the person checking off on my paperwork mustve missed them. I am NOT done unpacking yet so cant confirm if something is missing. They were both very friendly and courteous. Additionally there were a lot of the boxes CRUSHED so far Ive found a few things broken. Again I dont know if they were picked up like that or packed on the truck and got damaged.

Ryan was great when he came out for the estimate. I found the interstate contact Samantha to be cold and matter of fact. I was not told a packer would be coming out ahead of the moving van, and I was very rudely told by the packer and Samantha that this was not true. The driver even told me that the packer was supposed to call the day before to confirm he was coming. I found Jose, the driver, to be very professional. I had one upper corner of a bedroom dresser damaged in the move.
I had a great moving experience with Allen/Allan. He was very quick and efficient. However, I did not appreciate my agent/moving company not being proactive in getting parking permits for my move. With a bit of research, they could have acquired it and added it to my bill instead of threatening to charge me $4,000 extra dollars to put my items in storage since they did not get the permits. It should not be on the customer to get the permits.
I was very pleased with most aspects! Blake and his team were super helpful and clear about the process. Both teams of movers were great! The reasons I am giving four stars instead of five are:
When the driver arrived at my new place, it took almost an hour for them to figure out that my stuff was well behind their next deliverys. Ultimately, they decided to go do that job first and then come back. It all worked out in the end, but from 8:30 - 9:30 am I had no idea what was going on and why they were all there but not bringing my stuff.
I had two pieces of furniture broken (entry table and desk). The claims process was pretty easy to navigate though!
One of the two packers was great; the other seemed inefficient and did a poor job of labeling cartons. The movers were fantastic, hardworking and cheerful. So far, one item has turned up missing and we will be initiating the claims process. This review is incomplete, depending on how the claim settlement goes.
The three movers were very pleasant and accommodating. I have found four damaged pieces of furniture, however. One is not covered as it is one of those self-assembled desks. The others include a wooden wall shelf. a missing dowel that holds a swing-out support on my grandmother's drop leaf table and finally, my dining table wobbles. I will work on repairing these myself.

We worked with National Van Lines' local affiliate A2B Moving, who overall did a good job estimating, scheduling, pre-packing, moving to temporary storage, storing, and then finally transporting all our things from their storage to our new home. Ours was a long-distance interstate move, and A2B's estimated costs for moving different things made it easier for us to cost-effectively decide which items to move and which to leave behind, give away or toss. We were especially impressed with the qua lity of their pre-packing our fragile items. Over the course of the entire job, none of our moved items were damaged - just a few minor nicks that we easily repaired or touched up. Samantha did a good job tracking the overall project and managing the billing. The team that moved our things into our new home was fast, friendly, hard-working and effective. Our only issues involved a couple times when their workers scraped floors and a ceiling as they moved things out - without telling us as th ey did it - which made repairing things a surprise and a bit stressful: Something their supervisors may have to watch more closely.
For the most part the move went very smoothly. The packing team an excellent job of protecting our belongings and trying to make sure everything arrived intact. Someplace along the way, we're missing a few items that just weren't in the boxes we expected to find them. The delivery team tried to place the boxes in areas of the house were it made sense to be unpacked, but a few boxes were placed in the garage where they should have been placed elsewhere. We're still looking for certain key items, but at this stage we're not expecting to find them and may file a claim fir them.
Price was fair...not the highest and not the lowest. We chose AQMS and National based on customer reviews.
Schedule was accommodating and Sales was attentive.
The loading of the truck was not ideal. Not all items fit on the truck. Items were stacked to the ceiling of the truck, which caused damage to several items.
There was some confusion as my move date approached. There was items that needed to added or removed but the inventory list was not updated accordingly. Had to call several times to get everything straightened out. However, movers were great. They came promptly, moved everything carefully, delivered promptly and left little to no mess.
