Kelly Kirkman was awesome. She was very friendly and kind. Even when I barraged her with countless little questions, she never seemed like I was bothering her and answered me right away. I think you have a gem in her. The movers led by Matthew Murphy were very hard working and dedicated to doing a good job. They were very respectful and accommodating. I would use NVL again but hope I love where I live and do not have to!

Moving two states away without having a house in the state you are moving to (or even knowing exactly what part of the state that will be) is stressful. National Van Lines and their partners Affordable Quality Moving and Storage made the process painless and removed the worry of what to do with all of our stuff. They packed up our stuff, put it in storage gave us two months to find a house, go thru escrow and close. After a phone call we had all of our stuff safely in our new house. The driver w as amazing (he had to back a semi truck with full trailer a half a mile from the nearest intersection to our house) and the unloading crew did a quick and careful job. And now we are in are new home.

Everything went pretty smoothly. Brandon and the National people were right on top of things and made changes as I requested them. The truck crew worked professionally and kept to schedule. There were a few broken and missing parts, but after filing the paperwork, National gave us check with no problem.

For this move I got 6 estimates, including pods and upack, as well as 4 well known majors like National. With everything factored in, the costs were all about the same. What set you apart was first, Ben Strong who was great to work with from day 1. Easy going, helpful, flexible, quick to respond to questions. Second, you are good with payment just before delivery. That flexibility was super important because a big move has many and unexpected costs. Third, you showed flexibility with big difficu lt items like a glass dining table. Other movers would have required us to crate that and other items, greatly increasing costs. All those items arrived fine, because your moving team is really good -- best we've experienced. The move-in team was also excellent. Pat Warren is also really great, he kept in touch as he drove cross country and that, again, is something we really appreciated. The only annoying thing that happened was on move-out day, the team arrived with 2 smaller trucks and then wanted to charge for shuttling when we explicitly wanted 1 large truck and no shuttling and that had been agreed in advance. Enter Ben Strong who solved it for us. I was going to wait till we submitted our insurance claim as a couple items got a little damaged but I'll provide feedback on that process later. One thing to consider improving is how to deal with dust entering the truck during transit. The furniture items that were blanket wrapped, that had stands/feet protruding from the blankets , all had a fine red dust coating on the exposed parts. Not a deal breaker but worth thinking about how to prevent. Thank you for a great moving experience!

Kelly was beyond perfect in arranging our interstate move from storage to new home. She was completely understanding of the peculiarities of our move, and made it as comfortable (least stressful) as a move from storage to new home can be. Similarly Q and Eric, the guys who delivered, were fantastic! The area of challenge occurred somewhere between packing at the house, moving in and out of storage, and then delivering to new home. We do not yet have a full assessment because we are still unpacking, but we are glad we bought insurance for damaged and missing items.

Nice job on both ends of the move. Our rep Blake Contardi was with us every step of the way from pre move planning, during our first leg (with minor issues) and then at our home base where he was there in person to greet us and help complete the move. Drivers on both ends were very professional. Weather and parking issues were handled well and everything went smoothly. The team solved a difficult issue with a desk that had to be dismantled and expertly packed for shipment across the country . One of the movers went to U-tube for assistance after trying everything possible to get it from the third floor office. Crew on the back end unloaded and assist in placement of all items. Site was left clean and the crew respected the rules of our community which was appreciated. I would want a professional rep like Blake behind the scenes for my next move to make everything go smoothly.

I've heard so many horror stories about long distance moves, and how peoples things showed up way later than expected, and broken... well I am so grateful to say that everything on this move went so so smoothly! The only thing that went wrong was that I was told my pick up date would be within a specific time frame, and when it was initially scheduled it was scheduled outside of that window. However the entire team worked together to get my pick up date moved up to when they promised. Blake and Brittany were great to work with and they got my stuff moved out of my old home and into my new home so quickly and efficiently! I am so glad I chose to go with AQMS and National Van Lines. The price was the best out of all the quotes I got and they took such great care of me. Thank you everyone for the effortless move to my new home in TX!

We are still unpacking boxes and are still looking for some items. One item that we know was packed late in the day because it was overlooked out of my den was the Epson V600 flatbed scanner (replacement cost is $329.99, on line). I have found all of the other electronic equipment excet for the scanner.

Ben was so helpful, friendly, and supportive throughout the moving process. He answered my many (and random) questions and kept me informed along the way. Our mover (I unfortunately cant remember his name), was also very friendly and kept me updated along the way. My delivery was early and the unloading process was smooth and so fast.
