Moving two states away without having a house in the state you are moving to (or even knowing exactly what part of the state that will be) is stressful. National Van Lines and their partners Affordable Quality Moving and Storage made the process painless and removed the worry of what to do with all of our stuff. They packed up our stuff, put it in storage gave us two months to find a house, go thru escrow and close. After a phone call we had all of our stuff safely in our new house. The driver w as amazing (he had to back a semi truck with full trailer a half a mile from the nearest intersection to our house) and the unloading crew did a quick and careful job. And now we are in are new home.
I had a limited budget for a large cross country move due to a job change. Sandra was professional and went above and beyond to make sure my company had what they needed to reimburse me for the move. Gerry, my driver, was very professional and kind. The movers on both ends of the trip worked hard and were also very professional. Best move I ever had!
Worst move of my life. Driver was good, sales rep Greg Delano from GoldennServices was good and everything else was beyond terrible. Move was delayed by National due to a phony story of a broken truck. I was in the Trucking business for 47 years! You always have a backup plan! A rental truck was finally given to driver after I bitched that this was unacceptable. We got our Furniture on September 11th and the latest it was supposed to arrive Per Contract was September 5th! Then the second load fa cility at Golden Services in Tacoma area COMPLETELY Buried our John Deere Gator under the second stops belongings. Took movers 2 and half hours to get to it. Driver was unaware of how second stop was loaded and was beyond words as to the mess created. Was a complete joke. I personally spotted the Storage facility employee $100 for staying an hour and a half past closing so National could Finish unloading! You owe me atleast that if not more. We were scheduled to be Long gone after September 5th and could not leave until Furniture arrived for our supervision during unloading At storage Facility. Absolutely the worst moving experience of my life other than Driver was a stand up guy. This is 100% a National Vanlines issue and if I dont get some type of response and restitution I will be posting to EVERY Message board I can find! Totally Disappointing! djk5555@outlook.com
We had a very tight timeline that needed to be met in terms of when we needed our home packed up one one end, and delivered to our new home on the other end due to a multitude of circumstances. Tom and Janine worked with us and helped up make this happen, when all other moving companies we talked to were telling us our timeline was impossible. Our driver was very communicative and helpful as well.
