National Van Lines worked around our schedule. From packing, to shipping, to delivery and unpacking, they hit home runs. The crews were very professional, hard working and polite. It was a pleasure to have them in charge of our possessions and if we have to move again, there is no question that we will use them.

Our entire moving experience was great. We received our items at our new home about a week ago and I've opened all boxes except those with framed, hanging pictures or artwork. So far everything from boxed items to furniture to exercise equipment have arrived in the condition in which they left our home. We moved from CA to PA, with all items in storage almost 2 weeks between packing/loading and transporting. The movers in CA (CA Safe/Martian Movers) were great. Their crew came in on time and pac ked and loaded things in record time. They were courteous and professional and packed items I had not already packed very safely. They then transported to storage and had to unload everything into their storage facility in CA. Then, two weeks later, National Van lines came and reloaded everything into the large van for the cross country portion of the move. The driver, Art, was excellent and was in communication with us the entire time he was on the road. He delivered our items exactly when he s aid he would and he and his crew were great, too. They were quick, professional, and careful and courteous. While I have not had a chance to open the artwork boxes (they're packed really well and will take a lot of time to open), I'm sure they will be fine just as all the other items have been. I know moving companies get a bad rap these days, but working with Martian Movers as an official agent for National Van Lines, and then National Van Lines directly, I can say that we had a wonderful exper ience. I was able to pay the bill of lading online the business day before delivery of items and it was smooth sailing. I was not charged for anything additional at delivery time. It was all a very good moving experience and I'd recommend working with National Van Lines for your move.

The scheduler I spoke to (Michael) was amazing and helpful throughout the entire process. He always answered questions although I was given another contact once he did his part to sign me up for the move. There was an issue with the packing day. Somehow it was not scheduled. It caused a great deal of anxiety as the crew was unsure if they would be able to pack and load all in one day. I called a supervisor and they sent 2 additional packers and they were able to get it completed in one day . I realize things happen, but it added a great deal of stress to an already stressful time. However it went very smoothly now that I look back because things happen regardless of how well we plan. The driver and packers were Fantastic and took great care to ensure our things were not damaged and that is very appreciated. They know what they are doing and are quick, efficient and professional. We are pleased and would use National Van Lines again. However, I will personally confirm t he packing and loading are scheduled and confirmed a week or so in advance if I ever need to move in the future.

National Van Lines was responsive and our driver showed up on time at both pick-up and drop-off and our shipment wasn't delayed. They showed up at the times and days that they promised which was a relief for my husband and I. They were very communicative and thorough in their in-home estimate. We're very happy with National Van Lines.

Recently l moved from Chicago to San Diego w/ a different company The experience was next to challenging. I was presented w bills it seemed at every turn contrary to what was quoted.I moved back to Chicago in several months. With the first company items were lost and destroyed. With National I had one person who followed through w/ the entire move with no hidden charges. At arrival in Chicago I had a crew who moved me in, unpacked and I chose the extra service of 'putting way.' I was impresse d and not disappointed with service and personnel. The compliment comes from a picky customer who expects competence and honesty. ESP kudos to Blake and in Chicago Alex (mover warehouse.) Anything else?
