I was happy with the delivery time so that gets a 5.
Nothing was broken except for a minor piece on a cupboard which was easily fixed. I have not put everything in its place yet.
The movers did a very good job and were great. The local mgr, ReeseJones, was exceptional.
Nothing is perfect , and , there seems to be a box I cant locate.
This is because it has my COFFEE in it.
Been looking hard for it , as you can imagine .

My initial experience with the sales representative was great. We did a video walk through of my house and the estimate was very close to the final cost. The outsourced moving company communicated well about the move in general however the ETA of my home contents to my final destination wasnt communicated well. I had to follow up several times to get a date and time of delivery. South Bay movers were very nice at both load up and delivery however several of my boxes were damaged and its seemed e ither the journey or the movers were somewhat rough handling them.
Due to a truck breakdown, my delivery was 16 days late. During that time communications could have been better. We finally got on a good communication pattern toward the end of the time. I also think that a better assessment of the truck breakdown issue could have been done and a replacement truck could have been rented sooner.
I was surprised that only two men showed up to load and deliver our furniture and belongings to our new home in Dunwoody Ga. They did work very hard to load the truck and delivered the belongings 2 days later in the afternoon. I was very surprised that the 2 men were able to handle some of the heavy and big pieces we had. My only complaint would be that we were told it was ok to leave contents in furniture drawers. I saw several pieces carried in various sideways or even upside down. So when I opened drawers the contents were a mess. Also some items were left at our house in Florida which fortunately I was able to get my realtor to retrieve and send to us in Ga. So even though the guys worked very hard - I would give the experience a B.
Scheduling the move was easy. There was miscommunication on the date of pick up and the date of drop off compared to my contract dates. I learned that I should have been receiving daily updates from the sales person, which I did not get. Mark was accommodating with the mix ups and I appreciate that. John was an incredible lead at pick up and drop off. His attention to detail was great. He was organized and friendly. Overall, this big move was a good experience. Thank you.
Overall a great move with National, The third party vendor Ceceros was not the best to work with nor did they have a true feeling of care like the team who delivered my furniture. The team who delivered my furniture was awesome! The asked me where everything needed to go and even helped me look for a few urgent things! hats off to the NVL team! Sue in the office was also great and comforting to work with!
